Bud O’Shannessy our Managing Director has over 25 years’ experience in a diverse range of underground mines. Starting in a family business mining opal underground and going on to work in the hard rock underground metalliferous mining industry in locations around Australia. He spent a large portion of that time as a frontline jumbo operator where he gained a deep understanding of the issues facing mine owners and contractors. He obtained his Underground shift supervisors’ certificate in 2008 and eventually became a Project manager managing large scale narrow vein gold mines.
Brendan Parker our Commercial Director has 19 years’ experience with underground metalliferous projects in both operational and consulting environments. Brendan has previously worked at various mining operations in Australia, China and Canada, which gives him an excellent practical basis for the design, planning and optimisation of underground mines. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering Degree, a Western Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Aaron Budarick has 20 years’ experience in and around a variety of commodities and mining methods across Australia. His time began even before his professional years as he grew up in the mining towns where his family worked. He is a qualified Mining Engineer with a rich log of experience in mining operations as well as the support services industries. Having a skills list that can be drawn from including Production, Planning, Explosives Sales and Support, Mine Emergency Response, Planning Software, Environmental and Consulting allows him to understand many of our customer needs
Sara Gunzburg has 12 years’ experience working in the mining industry. During this time, she has been specifically focused on business development, recruitment and marketing for a number start up business within the industry and particularly enjoys creating strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders. Her main passion is improving the customer experience and building long-lasting relationships. Sara spent two years as a committee member for the WA Mining Club, assisting with the clubs Scholarship and Marketing portfolios.
