LiveMine Sponsors Eastern Goldfields BMX Club
LiveMine are extremely proud to announce our sponsorship for the Eastern Goldfields BMX club Inc in Kalgoorlie. This popular club is a great community initiative that caters for bike riders from all demographics in the Goldfields region. With many of their members directly involved in the mining industry the sponsorship is a natural fit for LiveMine. Both LiveMine and Eastern Goldfields BMX Club strive to deliver world class standard products and facilities. The club operates 12 months of the year at Club, State and National level with riders from two years of age all the way to Grandparents.
Eastern Goldfields BMX club was established in 1982. EGBMX is a volunteer run organisation that promotes and provides a safe-child environment where kids (and adults alike) can practice and race BMX with their friends from school and the wider community. EGBMX has held three state championships (2006, 2013 and 2018) and every year holds a twilight round (in June) as a part of the WA State Series. The club has a rider base of around 150 riders not including the volunteer memberships. Since our annual “come and try day”, we have had approx 40 new riders take out membership. Western Australia has the largest member base per capita in Australia and cycling is the fastest growing discipline. The state hosts 20 BMX clubs, 8 in metropolitan areas and 12 regional centres. As listed in the 2019 financial report, there were 3854 members (including 479 volunteers) in Western Australia. All events that we host have the potential to attract any number of those members for Race days.
Both LiveMine and Eastern Goldfields BMX Club are excited to see where this sponsorship takes us.
